Here's another audio mystery, this time by the all-around god-like being of The Chronic Rift Network, John S. Drew. After the success of THE OLD CURIOSITY SHOP, John pitched the idea of a mystery series to the producers of WCRS Radio Stage and this is the first in a series of three. Justin Case is an old-fashioned detective who likes doing things the old-fashioned way. He doesn't have a smart phone, doesn't use a computer - he still reads the newspaper! He's down on his luck though as his ways don't seem to impress many of today's clientele. But he gets a break when he's hired to find the killer of a late night radio talk show host who died while on the air. All indications are it was a heart attack, but Justin has to prove it's otherwise.

John's got a new story to tell, a purchase from the ledger of the Old Curiosity Shop. This time, the story concerns a watch the curator recently acquired. He's not sure if he should sell it. The last owner was an astronaut down on his luck, having been thrown out of time and being given the chance to change his life. Would you buy "The Watch"?

We return to the WCRS Radiostage with another audio production created as a service for the blind back in the early 2000s. Based on a short story written by producer David Binkley and Michael Elliot, Elliot drafts the audio play for this take on Sherlock Holmes in a story set twenty years after the last documented story by Sr. Arthur Conan Doyle. The story always read like an audio drama, so it made sense for David to produce it as such.
