On The Weekly Podioplex, it was another slow week at the box office, but that was okay for audiences who wanted scares because Jigsaw was ready and willing. It wasn't pretty, but it did the job. This week should see a turn on those low receipts with the return of the god of thunder Thor as he faces Ragnarok.
Home entertainment takes a trip to The Dark Tower, ventures down Wind River, and brings complete sets of Orphan Black and Sherlock. It's a good week for television from the BBC. After that, Denise brings us word of meaty Aquaman tales, Stranger Things producers on the CW, a monsterpalooza, and a drain on your wallets. There you have it: A brand new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, brought to you on The Chronic Rift Network.
(Good luck all you crazy NaNoWriMo challengers! We salute you.)
