On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, it was a good week to be a newcomer as bank heists, orcs, and supernatural terror won the weekend. Also, adding credence to what has been a bad punchline for a long time, so did China as they continue on course to become the world's largest movie market. To combat the specters this week, Disney is taking another adventure with a forgetful fish in Finding Dory. It will likely perform well, but will it overcome the curse of lackluster sequels in 2016?

On the home entertainment front, we visit 10 Cloverfield Lane, watch London fall, and welcome home old friends with Star Trek, the X-Files, and Dark Shadows. Wrap it all up with a look at next month's cinematic offerings, and you have a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, the Apocalypse was almost averted by the heroes on the half-shell, but it's mixed news for the studio. Both sets of comic book heroes could see a challenge with the Now You See Me sequel, the premiere of Warcraft, and another visit to the horrors of The Conjuring. Will they be enough to jump start the flagging summer season?

On the home theater front, it's a list of big hitters, including Disney's Zootopia, Michael Bay, and George Clooney. TV takes a Quantum Leap this week, and a Star Trek blockbuster goes Blu with a director's cut. What more could you want? It's a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, the Apocalypse has arrived, but it's certainly not the big Memorial Day winner that everyone had hoped. In fact, even with a new milestone under their ears, Disney couldn't save the holiday from a soft start to the summer season. Hoping to take advantage of that performance is a set of lean green pizza-eating ninja heroes on the half shell, but can their zany antics dethrone the X-Men?

On the home theater front, it's CG gods versus Jane Austen and the undead, with an inspirational Olympic biodrama to run circles around both. Add a little discussion to dismiss some fear-mongering, and you have a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, the box office went to the birds as Rovio's avian avatars struck down #TeamCap and #TeamIronMan. Unfortunately, the X-Men are bringing Apocalypse to theaters. Will the Angry Birds and their slingshot be able to withstand the mutant uprising?

Meanwhile, Disney strikes back with the heroes of the Coast Guard on your home theater, and a long lost adventure in time and space comes home with Doctor Who and The Underwater Menace. Add in Zoolander, the risen Messiah, Kevin Arnold, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and you have a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

We take all factors into account, concoct our film, and then offer a Final Pitch to you in movie trailer form. By the end of each episode, we will Remake This Movie RIGHT!

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, #TeamCap and #TeamIronMan joined forces with the denizens of The Jungle Book to maintain the Disney domination on the box office, including another milestone for the Marvel team. This week's competition involve some upset fowl with a porcine grudge and a slingshot, another comedic look at collegiate life, and a 1970s detective procedural. Do they have a chance at stopping the march of Mouse House?

Add in dirty old men and witches on disk, a biopic and a CG fantasy adventure on streaming, and the complete adventures of a fan-favorite warrior princess on TV, and you have a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

Cyborgs: A Bionic Podcast

The Six Million Dollar Man and The Bionic Woman were two of the most influential television programs of the 70's.  During the height of their popularity, Steve Austin (Lee Majors) and Jaime Sommers (Lindsay Wagner) would battle Fembots, Bigfoot, Venus Death Probes, deadly duplicates, foreign spies, and bitter cold to protect the United States' interests through the O.S.I. Every other Sunday, hosts John S. Drew and Paul K. Bisson talk about one episode from either series in depth with another fan of the series.  The podcast looks at the episodes, the pilot movies, and the reunion movies covering them from synopsis to review to a look at the mythology of both series.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, #TeamCap and #TeamIronMan tore up the box office as Captain America: Civil War broke records worldwide for Disney and Marvel. With little competition this week combined with critical and audience acclaim, the storm will likely continue for another weekend. But the Marvel influence doesn't stop there as the Deadpool, the Merc with a Mouth, brings home the chimichangas on DVD and Blu-Ray this week. Add a side of classic television for your home cinema, a dash of undead Jane Austen for on demand streaming, and a little extra spice for flavor, and you have a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, Mowgli found a turkey in the box office jungle as all of the newcomers fell short. But this is where The Jungle Book's reign ends as #TeamIronMan and #TeamCap clash in the long awaited Captain America: Civil War. While Marvel fans strap on their armor, Airwolf, the super helicopter of the 1980s, comes home to roost in a complete series set. Add in another round of winter wares in home entertainment and you have a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, Mowgli remained king of the box office jungle as the Huntsman fell on his axe, and the Man-Cub faces some competition from comedies as the box office prepares for #TeamCap and #TeamIronMan to wage Civil War. Meanwhile, the home entertainment slate clears the decks with some winter wares and an animated return to the three-hour tour, and the chimichangas get delivered on streaming by the Merc with a Mouth. Cap it all off with a look at May's coming attractions, and you have a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, Mowgli became king of the box office jungle, and with a stunning performance and reception, it may be difficult for The Huntsman to dethrone the man-cub. Meanwhile, home entertainment welcomes some more winter warriors to your shelf, including Leo and the bear, Norm of the North, and the Croatoan of Haven. This and more on a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.

On an all-new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, the Dawn of Justice was made dimmer by Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Bell, but with a terrible reception, can it keep the supers down? It may have some help with Disney's magic and the retelling of one of their classics. Heroes at war continue the story as the Justice League and the Teen Titans slug it out on Blu-Ray, Tim Kring's vision of humans battling evolution comes to your shelf, and Marvel's Phase Three gets ready to kick things off with #TeamCap vs #TeamIronMan. This and more on a new edition of The Weekly Podioplex, only on The Chronic Rift Network.
